In March of 2020, I, John DeOrio – founder of Signs of the Times General Store, became unemployed from an IT position that I had held for the past 20 years. Due to the employment landscape drastically changing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, we embarked on setting a new path that is not only rewarding, but beneficial to our community. We realized how hard it was to find products that were made locally or produced directly in the USA. At this time, my wife Jess and myself decided to open a store dedicated to local and USA made products. This store would start online with a goal of opening a brick and mortar store in Massachusetts as the business grows. To make this a reality, we are focused on providing exemplary customer service and quick, reliable, delivery of the sale of our products to our customers.
